In 2016, my young adult novel Manifesting Destiny was published by… a small publisher. It did fairly well on release, actually, although I didn’t love the way they formatted the paperback. And then I also couldn’t get local bookstores to carry the paperback because the publisher used Amazon to create it, and many bookstores don’t want to sell products made
Back in 2016, the first book in my planned Changers trilogy was published by Evernight Teen (under the name M Pepper Langlinais). Sadly, I wasn’t able to finish the trilogy at that time, and I eventually had the rights to the book returned to me after the contract ended. Now I’m happy to announce that Manifesting Destiny will be republished
I’m writing again, hopping from project to project, but I think this is finally the one I’m going to focus on. It’s set in AElit (see the tab above for context) and the working title is The Lost God. Below are excerpts I posted on Bluesky for various prompts. They’re not in any particular order in terms of the chronology

I wrote a short review on Goodreads immediately after finishing this book. Then, a few hours later, I filmed a video review that rambles a bit. So here I’m going to attempt to organize my thoughts a little more coherently. For context, let me begin by saying I adore Carry On and like Wayward Son. Though the second book was,
This is about to be random, but I feel like I need to write about it somewhere, and since this is my blog, here it is. I’m re-reading The Once and Future King by T. H. White. I first read it when I was 13 or 14 years old because I loved, loved, loved all things Arthurian (and Robin Hood—The
Very late to this party, but my daughter requested to watch this series. She’d seen an episode of it at a friend’s house once, had immediately pinpointed Merlin and Arthur as a couple, and had been curious ever since. So we started watching it as part of our regular girl time. For those unfamiliar: Merlin is a BBC television series
I’ve been meaning to make a YouTube video for this, and I might still do that, but for now it’s faster to just write about the handful of books I’ve read recently. Meghan and Harry: The Real Story Overall, I think Lady Colin Campbell is trying to be fair. She mentions numerous times how she wanted to Meghan to succeed,
